The seasonal dragon is an epic dragon that resides in a seasonal habitat. It is currently the only dragon to change colors, along with its habitat, according to seasonal changes. Its elements are fire, air and plant. Here are some suggestions on how to breed a seasonal dragon in DragonVale.

Steps

  1. Go to your breeding cave or the epic breeding island. Your park needs to be at level 14 or higher before trying to breed this dragon.
  2. Pair two compatible dragons. A seasonal dragon can result from a variety of combinations containing the elements of air, fire and plant. Some suggestions for possible combinations include:
    • Blazing dragon with a plant dragon
    • Firework dragon with a plant dragon
    • Flower dragon with an air dragon
    • Poison dragon with an air dragon
  3. Wait 48 hours for breeding. The egg color will be a swirl of red, blue, purple and green.
    • Breeding time can be hastened by spending gems.
  4. Put the egg into nursery and wait another 48 hours until it hatches.
  5. Place the seasonal dragon in a seasonal habitat. To help it grow, feed it the same food as all baby dragons.

Tips

  • At level 10, this dragon will earn 316 coins per minute. (This is without boosts.)
  • You may need to try lots of different combinations before you get the seasonal dragon.
  • As with all dragon breeding, it may take a few attempts to get this dragon. Just keep trying.
  • The seasonal changes are currently aligned with those in the Northern Hemisphere.
  • Seasonal dragons can be purchased in the market for 2,000 gems.
  • You can increase your chances by using level or level 20 dragons in breeding. If you don't own a level 15 or level 20, you can co-op with a friend that does!
  • Level 11 or higher dragons have a higher chance of breeding epic dragons like the seasonal dragon.

Warnings

  • If breeding an adult seasonal dragon, be aware that it may only be paired with another seasonal dragon.
