At sometime in our lives, we are going to get wrinkles. Or if you already have them but you just don't want them, never fret! This article is going to show you how to treat wrinkles the quick and easy way.

Steps

  1. Drink eight full glasses of water each day. This will keep your skin hydrated, which will gently plump up existing wrinkles and discourage new ones from forming.
  2. Avoid using facial products containing alcohol. Alcohol is drying and can cause wrinkles to form. Use products containing water or witch hazel instead.
  3. Wear sunglasses whenever you go out in the sun. This will keep you from squinting, which will prevent the fine lines around your eyes from turning into deep wrinkles.
  4. Use facial creams containing light, natural oils, such as evening primrose oil or avocado oil. These will absorb into your skin easily and plump up existing wrinkles.
  5. Apply moisturizer as soon as you wash your face or shower. This will lock the water from washing into your face, keeping your face hydrated and smoothing out wrinkles.
  6. Use a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 15 whenever you go outside. Prolonged exposure to sunlight can toughen and age skin, leading to wrinkles. Sunscreen helps block these damaging effects.
  7. Use a skin-tightening mask to treat your wrinkles. Facial masks containing mineral clay and witch hazel shrink pores and tighten skin to naturally reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Leave the mask on for no more than half an hour, to avoid drying out your skin, then wash it off with warm water.

Warnings

  • Don't try to treat wrinkles with concealer. Some people try to cover wrinkles with concealer, but this only makes the wrinkles more prominent, as the concealer settles into the wrinkles and highlights them.
  • Though drinking water is one of the easiest and most effective of the home remedies for treating wrinkles, make sure you're drinking pure, filtered water. Unfiltered water, such as tap water, may have traces of harsh chemicals in it that may be damaging to your skin in the long run.
