Hello as a novice in guitar its great to share knowledge by publishing a first lesson that teaches you how to play 3 chords and the intro to Lynrd Skynrd's Sweet home Alabama from the album second helping.

Steps

  1. Learn how to play the D,C,and G chords which are D: 2nd finger on the 1st string on the 2nd fret,the 1st finger on the 3rd string on the second fret and the 3rd finger on the 2nd string on the third fret. C : 1st finger on the second string on the 1st fret,2nd finger on the 4th string on the 2nd fret and 3rd finger on the 5th string on the 3rd fret. G : Third finger on the 1st string on the 3rd fret,1st finger on the 5th string on the second fret,and the 2nd finger on the 6th string on the 3rd fret.
  2. Now you play the intro like this:
  3. Do a d chord and pluck these string numbers 44234
  4. Do a c chord and pluck these string numbers 55234
  5. Do a g chord and pluck these string numbers 66 and then strum
  6. Repeat the above twice
  7. Practice every single day!

  • Build Calluses on the fingers.
  • Be patient.
  • Practice!
  • Listen to the song a lot.

  • You need to practice this many times to sound right.
