Going to the movies, cinema, movie theater/theatre or Pictures nowadays is a great experience. Unfortunately, money can sometimes be tight. Why bother spending $15+ on food when you can sneak it in for free?

Steps

  1. Go to a grocery store or supermarkets and buy the candy or food you want to sneak in. Try to buy candy that comes in a box, because candy in bags or wrappers are loud and noticeable. For meal items (Subway, Burger King, etc.), put the food in a Ziploc bag, then tape the bag to your stomach. Put on a loose-fitting sweatshirt, and no one will notice!
  2. If you have a friend who has a purse, put it in there. No one is going to search through it unless it is fairly obvious that you're sneaking food in.
  3. For smaller food items such as candy bars, put them in your shoe (wear loose fitting slip-ons or something similar). On top of your foot, but still in the shoe. No one will notice.
  4. Cargo pants with many pockets can be a haven of hidden food. Utilize every pocket available!
  5. If you're trying to take in candy bars or other slim, rectangular shaped items, tape them to the underside of your arm. This only works if you wear a loose sweatshirt.
  6. Put drinks in a tightly sealed water bottle. That way, you won't have to open a can of soda (loudly) inside the theater.
  7. If the theater is in a mall area, have a shopping bag from a nearby store and put food in it. No one will question it.
  8. If you have a backpack, you can sneak food inside it.

Tips

  • Avoid tight clothing as it will reveal your food.
  • Avoid hot foods, as their odor will be noticed by the employees.
  • Hide things deep in pockets of your purse. It is less likely that they will go through every pocket unless it is bulky and sticking out.
  • Never underestimate the power of a loose-fitting sweatshirt.
  • If the employees try to search through your purse or bag, tell them that you're not comfortable with them going through your things.
  • Don't get nervous when you're entering the theater; people do it all the time.

Warnings

  • If you get caught, they will make you throw out the food you're bringing in.
  • Try not to disturb others by opening loud, crinkly wrappers whilst in the theater.

Things You'll Need

  • Loose-fitting sweatshirt
  • Candy from Target, Walmart, etc.
  • A bag or purse
  • Ziploc bags
